Before the Medlen announcement, was thinking about this topic anyway. Of the current crop, going to go with Jordan Walden. Makes the original Heyward deal w/ St. Louis that much better! Have little confidence in any kind of return to form by EOF. Would be fine with him in Gwinnett, otherwise it's time to cut bait, unless he has an amazing spring.

I agree that Walden seems the most likely but wouldn't rule out (and would personally love it, as Kris is one of my all-time favorite players) Medlen making it. My question is who doesn't make it in order for either of these guys to take a spot? I mean here are the candidates in order of most likely-least likely to make the club out of spring training (my opinion):
