Where are you Sharpton, where are you Jesse Jackass?

Yeah, there's no doubt the problems we face as a nation are MULTIPLE in nature. There is no one problem or even one main problem in my opinion except out willingness to settle into our little group and only see the sins and shortcomings of other groups, races, etc., Some time when I'm feeling a little more energetic (I still don't have much energy because of the radiation they zapped me with this past summer) I'll try to actually spell out my overall philosophy on this situation, for better or for worse.

The problem I've noticed in the past is that those who brainwash Americans (yes I said it) are so good at their jobs that Pavlov would be proud. Most people I know are either blindly led around by Faux, Rush, the Kochs, et al., or Jesse, Al, et al., or The Kos, HuffPo, MoveOn, etc., and they people are actually so good at what they do that people are literally made to feel pain at even the thought of their person or their group being a real part of the problem that they immediately jump up and snap a response full of vitriol at why I would point out something about their person/group's part in the problem when I could be pointing out some really bad folks, all of whom just happen to be on that other side, and it's really a total waste of time and to be perfectly honest a complete insult to bring their people into the argument at all. You know, something along those lines.

I swear one poster said they hated my guts because I do not follow a party, always diss both sides, not taking any stances.

Hello, I am not a person to take sides, follow a religion, or an ideology.

I am not a nice person to Liberals or Conservatives, not at all. They both suck and they know it. The Libertarians are in my sight and Sturg know I am coming for them.

We need a Common Sense party, neither side and Libertarians don't have it.

Considering some of the schidt I've seen them say to you, yeah I'd say you were awfully nice to them. Like I've said before I haven't posted since right around the time I started my radiation treatments this past Summer but I read these forums almost every day. The only exceptions would be some of the looooooooonnnnnngggg threads where some of our conservative friends go on and on and on about how the police are right about everything and can absolutely be trusted to be judge, jury, and executioner, how the system itself isn't racist, only the members of the system (LMAO) and how it's up to blacks to be the bigger person and maybe just maybe eventually the racist whites in this country (and in the police force) will start to treat them with actual equality (ROTFLMAO). Yeah, I can't possibly imagine why you might get a little testy about that stuff. OK, I have to rest for a while now, too much lol-ing. Besides the physical fatigue and brain fog probably the one thing I've noticed the most since radiation (and this is going to cause widespread disbelief here) is that my BS-ometer is even more hair triggered than it used to be.

You've got me pegged, but I think Thethe would contest that. I was a total asshole to him, but like a good man, after I apologized he apologized as well, men do that when they know they went too far.

Thanks man. Like I told you in the PM or the Facebook message I'm going to be fine. I just have almost no energy right now, the brain fog comes and goes, etc., nobody wants to have cancer but I had great treatment, great people, there were lots of "uncomfortable" parts of my treatment but no suffering. I saw people every day, some older than me and more than a few young people who did suffer because of their illness and the treatment. I have ZERO room to complain, I did not suffer at all and hopefully all my future PSAs will bear out that the proton radiation treatments worked. You also find out who your friends are in these situations. I had a guy I really considered a friend, someone I have known online for over 15 years tell me essentially "don't worry about it, you're a fighter, you'll be just fine" and that was the last I've heard from him. Another guy I consider a friend though we don't agree on that much (he's an EXTREME conservative), though we have a good time playing fantasy football together was much nicer about it, though he was sure that the initial trouble I had getting my insurance company to OK my treatments was because of ObamaCare and that "socialized medicine" could never work, and soooooooooooooooooooooooooo on.

At any rate, I decided way back at the beginning of this that there was a LONG list of people I still haven't pissed off yet so I WAS going to be OK and I guess that brings me to where we are now.

He is right, you thanked them but don't post in them.

If you want to fight someone, fight me. I will not defend thugs and I will not defend police. Both sides are at fault but some people take the defending too far. I dissed both because I find it quite hilarious that KR and Gilefan find that police do no wrong, ever, they made that point and that is what he was referring to. Thethe at least has the gnads to come in here and say, this officer went too far. I was a total dick to him for defending Officer Wilson, but I read what I posted and said to myself he is right in some things he was saying and apologized. Knowing he touched a few nerves with me, he done the same.

What Okie said was true, he and I and a few others are similar, we do not really "take" sides and that bothers people like you, 57 and other hard core take to ideology at all costs types.

On here, yeah I am consider Republican leaning, but I am not a Republican, some of the things they do makes me want to puke. Ask Sav what is on my Facebook page, I bet you he when he read about me, he was confused. I am a true REBEL, if you understand what I mean. I do not like people in leadership or people telling me what to do how to think or how to live or how to act, never have, never will.

He is not right, AA. We have never said that the cops were always right about everything. Name one conservative who said the cop was right in the Garner case. Nobody said that the cop has a right to be judge, jury, or executioner. Point that out to me, AA. Show me.

He made an open statement. He was not alluding to ONE incident.

You did the correct thing in saying you are sorry, but he is not wrong. The overall picture that some of you defend the police at all costs. Not you, but a few on here do and will use every tactic they can to defer judgment. I know they think I am cool, a black Carlton Banks, but like I told Thethe, when you are dealing with this schit for 40+ years you see a pattern in people. I used that pattern with him and he understood where I was coming from and took a step back, the other two, not so much. They might not think they have any biases, they do and it is strong in them. I have biases as well, but mine are with all races and all religions because frankly there are some stupid f*cks in them and they do not have any common sense and refuse to reign them in. They might say the same about me, but guess what, I don't really give a f*ck if they do. What I am saying, there are some people on this board that they might say one thing and keep saying it, they are not far from their rigid belief and that is what Okie was saying. He is old school and he knows people on this board. His comment about me being nice is right and wrong. I am a total dick if I really want to be, probably worse you would ever seen, but out of respect I've tone down my rhetoric. I am loud and with a big EGO and being a black man in a white man's world, it amplifies it.

I don't see it that way, AA. Yes, we defended Wilson. To us it was a clear case of self defense. The libs on here thought differently and that's fine. However, if you look at goldfly's Garner thread most of the conservatives said on the very first page that the officer should be indicted. That pretty much blows away the assertion that we think the cops do no wrong. As goldfly said there is about one bad incident a day done by cops and he's right. There are bad cops out there. I've ran into them before. I think everybody has. I just don't see the need to stereotype them in an negative way like we see from certain posters.
