What David Joyce (who gets some credit for not being on the Treason Weasel list) fails to note is that McCarthy himself is a Treason Weasel.

It's as if the Republican Party has been infiltrated by idiots who don't know how and don't care about governing.

They and McCarthy had 2 months to work this out so they wouldn't be seen to totally incompetent, immature children who have no business being near a serious discussion.

If they can't even agree on a Speaker when they have no other option available, dealing with actual issues is gonna be even a bigger circus of fools.
 
One party now thinks politics is a reality TV show, and they are playing the part. The same people stupid enough to watch reality TV support them, so they must use the same tactics to gain that support. The more outlandish the antics, the better.
 
It is so much fun watching the party that emasculated itself over DJT show how impotent it really is yesterday. The party of Bobert, Gatez, and Green is circling the bowl. The GOP as we knew it is dead. To survive the cancer must be cut out or a new middle-right party must take its place.

There is one possible (albeit unlikely) outcome that would be a win for the country. A coalition with 20 reasonable members of the GOP caucus with someone like Upton or Amash as speaker.
 
Amash doesn't have the stomach to be speaker,
shoot, he doesnt have the stomach to be a rank and file Representative

I heard Upton's name a few times yesterday.
But would he want to ?
 
what leads you to believe- or what in his past would lead any thoughtful person
to the conclusion Amash has the temperament to deal with Gaetz,
Boebert, Green, Gosar and the rest of the performance artists ?

Or for that matter answer DJT phone calls ?
Because he is the orange elephant in the room
