Who gets traded?

Should be a lot of activity this offseason with a few guys almost being ready like Acuna and Gohara, so who goes? Markakis would be the main guess. But who all do yall see us trading this offseason?

Albies for a pitcher.

Camargo to 2b

Acquire a 3b

I'll then be sick as long as Albies career lasts

I think there will be a lot of reshuffling going on this offseason. These are the easy ones.

Matt Adams

Nick Markakis

Jim Johnson

Arodys Vizcaino

Matt Wisler

Aaron Blair

Sam Freeman

Luke Jackson

Jason Hursh

In order to trade a player, another team has to cover that player. If one of the worst teams in the game doesn't want a player, I'm doubt anyone else will either.

1.) Adams to the Yankees for Chase Headley? Just seems to make too much sense to happen though. Obviously would love to see how much the package would need to be sweetened to get Andujar, but don't think we'd be willing to pay the price.

2.) Markakis to Baltimore for Jomar Reyes? Also seems like it'd make too much sense. Markakis would seem to fit perfectly as a replacement for Seth Smith to keep them as a fringe contender for the last season that they have control over Machado.

3.) Kemp to the Giants for Ryder Jones? They've got Cain's money coming off the books (can buy his last year out this winter), and obviously always have a hole in LF - since Cueto and Samardzija aren't likely going anywhere, they might as well try to contend. If they filled LF with Kemp, they could go after Frazier to play 3B and keep them from having to take on another mega-contract by chasing J. D. Martinez or Moustakas.

(EDIT: Of course I'd want us to then turn around and spend the money we saved on a mega-contract for J. D. Martinez to hit behind Freddie for awhile!!! :eusa_dance:)

since Swanson and the first wave of pitching are busts, we are likely to waste the prime years of Acuna and Albies...might as well trade them

Hey... Kick the can down the road for a few more years, we might be able to accumulate some good prospects. Of course none of them will actually become good players, so we can keep trading them for more prospects. Do they give a trophy for having the best farm system in perpetuity?

Obviously TIC. But there must come a time when you decide to try to win with the team you have or can build. We have, and will continue to have discussions about when that might actually be

"Makes too much sense" doesn't belong in the same paragraph as any idea you propose. These latest examples are further proof lol.
