Who’s next?

AA on high heat.

- Main focus is on the outfield right now.
- Hasnt checked in on relief pitcher in FA market right now.
- Ok with the SP where they are now, checked in on trade market. Will be in on SP market but probably wont be high bidder.

Pretty much what every intelli-Brave around here expected.

There has to be a trade coming though...right?

I have thought they would make one trade, you dont have this many pitchers just to keep them. You gotta some of them to improve your team while you're contending but also be smart about it too. But if they trade, for who?

Exactly. We long assumed they would make a trade for C/cOF, and sign a FA for the other. Now the most obvious cOFs are FAs, but maybe Peralta is going to be the target since he will only make $8M next year.

WWTDD? (what would the Dodgers do?)

Dodgers have had guys come up in their farm or signed a guy like Puig, alot of their team is farm based. Or smart waiver claims like Justin Turner. Seager, Kike, Chris Taylor, Joc, Bellinger, Muncy, etc.

The Dodgers would trade Newcomb for Peralta.

This guy was also wondering that same question.

I can’t disagree with this general premise (overvalued pitching for low cost position talent), though I think the Dodgers would value cheap impact innings from Newk.

I also think the Dodgers would have a better RHH compliment than Duvall.

I still think Eddie Rosario is a better target than Peralta. Younger, back to back good hitting year I like Peralta, better defensively, still some upside. Twins have good OF in system as well. If we trade Newk for an OF, behaind Haniger he’s my favorite target.

Can’t trust a word aa says but I hope he’s true on pitching.

We are in a power spot now. I want us to get the best players without overpaying. That said if we wait it out we could get a big time deal.

Cof could easily have someone left without a chair when the music stops.

I could easily see the dodgers signing someone like Harper and then look to part with an of we would want.

I don't think we need to add a SP other than a guy like Anibal Sanchez until late in the spring or at the deadline. Too many young guys with potential. Obviously we know that 4 spots are set barring a trade. That leaves a plethora of young guys competing for that 5th spot. And you've got about 5 guys ready to contribute if/when needed. If anything AA needs to get Dayton Moore on the horn and talk to him about Teheran. I think he's our best shot at moving Julio.
