Why Academics Leftists and Elitists Need to Treat Ordinary Americans With Respect

There are undoubtedly situations where being a white male works to someone's disadvantage.

And some where it works to their advantage. Such as Brown's attempts to keep parity between male and female students.

A remedy to both kinds of situations would have my approval.

The remedy is straightforward and John Roberts might have said it best - "The way to stop discrimination on the basis of race is to stop discriminating on the basis of race."

I thought I could count on the right to agree. Sadly, I’m no longer sure.

When it comes to immigration, I am highly supportive of using data to determine where people are most like to benefit us vs negatively impact us and make blanket policy to align with that

When it comes to American citizens, we should treat every individual on their merit and actions. But don't so will create disperate impact, which leftists will not allow. Instead of grading on curve like we do today to discriminate.

I won’t pretend to have the answer, but I’d like to think we could craft an immigration policy more sophisticated than either a thumbs up or down based on country of origin.
