Why haven't the Braves sent Dansby to AAA?

I would much prefer every game in AAA and gaining another year of control if we plan to use him long term. Guys in AAA have good sliders too.

Yep, giving Carmargo a shot is fine, having Dansby sit on the bench for half the games is not. He needs to be starting in AAA if he's not playing full time. It was dumb enough to bring him up last year when we did, this is beyond idiotic. If Dansby is still up and playing half the time after the trade deadline I'm going to have serious questions about our FO.

What about the extra year of control argument for AAA? Or are you down enough on Swanson that it doesn't matter?

that's a valid argument...he would have to be sent down for over 40 days i believe to get back that extra year of contractual control

And are all well aware that if they're looking to get called up they better be throwing them to Swanson right about now.
