Why Now IS The Time To Wipe The Slate Clean

Excuse my ignorance but if we are hoping that CJ, BJ, and Minor have bounce back years so that we can get more value out of them wouldn't that make the 2015 Braves a contending team? If that's the case, why blow the whole thing up?
I've been lurking around this forum for a long time and have been following/posting since the Fastball.com days. It's been fun seeing what other people have to say. Just my two cents but this organization needs to either **** or get off the pot.

Those guys need to have value to unload them. You don't want to give a guy like Minor away for nothing.

I agree. What I'm getting at is that if we keep the guys we have and sign someone like Emilio and a 5th starter AND if these 3 have bounce back years, then we have the makings of a playoff contender. I know those are big ifs but it's possible. Otherwise, I'd prefer to trade who we can outside of the young core and eat some of the salary of BJ and CJ. Getting out from BJ and most of his contract is enough value to me. CJ will have at least a little bit of value once Headley signs because of the lack of 3rd basemen on the market. His contract isn't crazy like BJ's is either.
The waiting is what sucks... Let's get this going already!
I don't want 2015 to be a loss but if it is then let's at least do it right.
