Will somebody kick this guy off the site? He brings nothing, zero, zilch to the actual baseball talk. He posts for self validation and always needs the focus to be on him. Won't be reading anymore until he's gone.

I think its something to be considered for sure and I feel the same way you do.
 
I'm not as high on Giolito as some. I don't see him as top 5 anymore. This would be similar to Albies-Newcomb. More than I would pay. But considering the Nats need, they kind of have to do it.

Yeah, I don't think the market values him as a top 5 prospect anymore. Sox will get more than just Giolito and Robles though. I'm guessing they'll get 4 to 5 prospects.

I think Fedde or Voth might go too. Huge over pay, but in all seriousness, this makes them really, really good if Stras doesn't break down and their older guys can stay healthy.

Ignore him if you dont like what he says. Obv obnoxious, but he adds more substance than most posters here.

Hard to ignore when he derails the conversation in literally every thread.

I agree that he offers substance, but I can see why people wouldn't want to post in a community that's consistently vitriol.

It's better than acting smug and thinking you're somehow smarter than everyone else. You literally have zero idea what is going to happen today, tomorrow, or 3 years from now. But you pretend like you're BFF's with the Johns and know the entire vision. Your act got old 8 months ago.
 
I can get not liking some of the moves the team makes but Scheff literally acts like a douche-bag in every post, it's pretty annoying.

That's what I was thinking. Swanson holds more value than your average top prospect because he's already been brought up and performed well. While Giolotto is a fantastic piece, I wouldn't put his current value near Swanson.

Closer to Newcombe and Albies, imo. Will have to see what else they gaven up to make a final judgement on this trade. But looking like a good get for the Chi-Sox already.
 
If the Nats KNOW they cant keep Harper it's probably the right move.

Scherzer, Sale, and Stras is quite a trio to deal with as well as Roark/Gio.
