Winter Olympics

Quick wasn't the reason that they lost, as he made some spectacular saves in the 1st period. Scoring chances just weren't buried. However, Team USA did kind of give up after it got to be 2-0. After the big showing in the preliminary round, it sticks 9 miles up my ass that they were scoreless in the playoffs.

The first goal was a screw up, the second one was bad defense, the 3rd and 4th were power play IIRC so that's kinda **** luck.

I mean the offense is more to blame. But last Olympics Miller made insane saves one after another to keep the US in games. US can get a little aggressive and I think Quick is more of a heady keeper ala Brodeur than Miller who's more of an athletic type. Both have their advantages, and Marty Brodeur IIRC won more Stanley Cups than Dominick Hasek (who didn't win any until he came out of retirement to play in Detroit)
