Sometimes things can be legally guaranteed but, essentially, not legally enforced because of preceding systemic inequalities. Equal pay for equal work is one such example.

But it is enforced. If there were women with equal qualifications doing the same job as men for less they would sue and win. They aren't suing because they have no case.

I laughed when Audi did that awful patronizing super bowl ad... then when someone pointed out that men in their company make more than women, they explained that it was due to different skills / experience. I.e., like everything else in this world.
You know what else they say?
"We want good access to health care the government to stay out of our bodies"
You know why that's a stupid answer? Because they already have all this ****, and their healthcare is subsidized by men.
What's clear is that when these women march, they don't want equality, they want preferential treatment. Sorry - doesn't work that way.
