James Comey was a registered Republican for most of his adult life. He donated to Senator John McCain's campaign in the 2008 presidential election and to Governor Mitt Romney's campaign in the 2012 presidential election. However, in July 2016, he disclosed during congressional testimony that he was no longer registered with any party. In an interview with ABC News in April 2018, Comey said that the Republican Party "left me and many others," and that "these people don't represent anything I believe in." He has since described himself as an independent.

In recent years, Comey has been critical of the Republican Party, particularly its embrace of Donald Trump. He has urged voters to vote for Democratic candidates in the 2018 midterm elections and has said that he believes the Republican Party is "not a healthy political organization."

As of 2023, Comey is not affiliated with any political party. He is a writer and public speaker, and he has written several books about his experiences as FBI director. He is also a vocal critic of Donald Trump and the Republican Party.

Comey, like some others, came to be disillusioned with his party after 2016. I can see why.

Sounds like he and I dropped our affiliation with the GOP at almost the exact same time.

what is christopher wray's political affiliation

Christopher Wray is a registered Republican. He was nominated by President Donald Trump to be the director of the FBI in 2017 and was confirmed by the Senate. Wray has said that he believes in the FBI's mission to protect the country and that he will serve as director in a nonpartisan way.

Wray has a long history of working in the Republican Party. He served as an assistant attorney general in the Justice Department during the George W. Bush administration and was a registered Republican for most of his adult life. However, he has said that he is not a "political animal" and that he is committed to serving the FBI in a nonpartisan way.

Wray's political affiliation has been the subject of some controversy. Some critics have accused him of being too close to the Republican Party and of not being independent enough. However, Wray has defended his record and said that he is committed to serving the FBI in a nonpartisan way.

If he's voting democrat this time around so he's hardly a republican and I doubt he ever was one regardless of what he says. Whatever his party is doesn't change the fact the **** he and Wray have been doing. However, I encourage you to keep this misdirection ploy going. Someone might actually believe it.

I believe my point that we have yet to see an FBI director who was a dem let alone a libtard still stands. Time to try something new.

Btw Comey gave money to the presidential campaigns of McCain and Romney. He just had the good sense to understand that the party lost its mind in 2016. Sadly it is still struggling to find it.

They all donate to the uniparty.

Thats the point and thats why we are seeing 'Far-Right' parties emerge all over the Western world to fix the filth people like you created.

The characterization of the "party lost its mind" is super informative on nsacpi's mindset.

Newsflash buddy - It wasn't the party that changed course and thats what you keep losing sight of.

If he's voting for Biden after what we've seen he's definitely a libtard.

Comey and Wray are doing **** to damage republicans and we see it with our own eyes. Wait a minute, our eyes are lying to us because they say they're republicans.

Pretzel logic at it's best.

Republican and Democrat have lost all meaning.

They are one in the same now and coopted by agents that don't care about the countries citizens.

Maybe if I get into politics and join the dem party and donate to them I can do some damage to them working as I spy. People will never suspect me because I say I'm a dem, right? Right?

Wray is a monster. what blame do you assign to Trump for his appointment... and what makes you think he will improve next time? He very recently said the book was still out on Wray

If you want to continue to believe that Trump believes that "While under constant persecution" as opposed to attempted to use his words carefully until he is back in power then thats a position you can take.

I think I'm up to 129387324071234123 times I've said that Trump wasn't perfect and made mistakes. He also trusted people that any reasonable person would have trusted at the time.

I suppose he could 'course correct' like someone always says after they've made mistakes as if that makes the original mistake any better.

You know he doesn't have any sense because he's wearing a Biden shirt. Are you telling me that he thinks all of these republicans are so bad that he can't vote for a milquetoast republican like Christie over a dem like Biden?

Seriously, are you this big of a sucker?

Well trumps mistakes are plentiful, and I've yet to hear him acknowledge any of them. In fact, he often insists no mistakes were made.

I can't speak for Comey, but I would be thrilled if someone like Christy was nominated. Or Pence. Or Scott. Or Hutchinson. Or Haley. Or DeSantis.

DeSantis and maybe Scott for me. The others? No.

That's my point, NSACPI. If you can vote for these guys how come Comey can't?

I have no insights into who he likes on the Republican side.

You posted a picture of him in a Biden-Harris 2020 shirt. Don't know if that's how he plans to vote in 2024.

Tim Scott is the Republican in the race I like the most. I would seriously consider voting for him if he won the nomination.

Here's more BS from Wray. This is a complete lie because he knows like I do that all the documents with markings were either in the SCIF or in Trump's office. It says so right in Smith's indictment. Becker was being sarcastic here.
