Your "second" team

I love the Braves, we all love the Braves - It's why we are here.

But I think this year is about to drive everyone insane. So, what is your second favorite team. Maybe not even a "favorite," but a guilty pleasure team that you enjoy?

*Im bored and we need conversation to replace the awful product we have right now*

I'll start: Pittsburgh Pirates.

I grew up an avid Pittsburgh sports fan (family ties). I'm still a Steelers and Penguins fan.

The Royals. They have been my 2nd favorite team since I was kid. Was so very glad to see them win it all last season after the 20+ seasons of misery they had.

San Francisco Giants. Grew up in NorCal, and I have to give Giants fans credit for being some of the best in the league. Most of my experience was before they were champs. Even in the bad years those fans hung on every pitch and cheered like crazy over everything.

If you've never been to AT&T park and sat in the nosebleeds, you haven't lived. Even better, taken one of the ferries to the game (Larkspur is the one I tried out, and it was amazing).

I agree with VaBrave

i like watching a couple other teams (players) but i don't root for anyone except the Braves

Don't particularly have a second team. But I do love seeing mid market teams win over big money. The Rays, Jays, O's, Royals, Mariners, A's, Rocks, Brew, Pirates, etc.

Note: Only when we suck or are out of contention.

I guess I have liked KC since they've become Braves-lite, even before their recent winning.

Closest thing I have to a second team is the Cardinals. Most of my friends are Cardinals fans, and basically all of Arkansas is Cardinal crazy thanks to the strong AM signal of KMOX from the old days and the long term association with the Little Rock minor league team. They're not enough of a favorite for me to watch them on a regular basis or keep track of their roster the way I do the Braves. And of course when I'm in Busch on 8/5 and 8/6 I'll be rocking the Braves gear sitting behind home plate like Marlins man.

Since I'm spending most of my life in Asia these days:

Chiba Lotte Marines (Japan)
Doosan Bears (South Korea)

The SF Giants have always been my west coast team, though. AT&T Park is incredible ... not a bad seat (or view) in the house and Gilroy Garlic Fries.

I don't really have a second team. When we're unwatchable, I'm simply not watching MLB at all. I do like going to minor league and college games.

Mariners. Live in Seattle. Enjoying watching them get off to a good start.

Went and saw Taijuan Walker Monday night against the Astros. Holy ****, that was impressive. 97 on the black for his 118th pitch.
