Bally Sports Latest

Thanks for posting...but where in that article are you seeing the Braves excluded from Amazon?

I saw in the article where they pointed out the five MLB teams that have streaming agreements with Bally Sports + app and the Braves aren’t one of those teams. That’s where I had that thought, but of course, I could be mistaken.

The bottom line is that we're almost a year since Diamond Sports Group filed chapter 11 bankruptcy and there's still unknowns, especially after this season is over. Now I suspect we'll get answers well before then, but what are they? I feel rather confident in saying this will be the final year of the Braves on Bally. But what about 2025 and beyond? Amazon takes ownership? Blackouts? New network? All that remains unanswered.

Just read an article that the Texas Rangers could consider starting their own regional sports network. It’s among multiple options. Would be a gamble considering the climate of TV sports networks. Would wonder though the chances the Braves would consider that potential option.

Question and don't know if this is the correct forum. I live north of Houston and have Xfinity as my cable/Internet provider. For the last few years I have also subscribed to MLB Extra Innings. In the past when the Braves game was over there was no post-game show. Now this year there is a post-game show. It says Xfinity. I'm thrilled but can someone tell me why the change?

My only guess would be the higher ups in charge of all that decided to show it. All I can guess

As you can imagine, lot of mad people about Bally no longer being on Comcast. I don’t know for sure, but I can imagine MLB being real happy about this

I got the email from Xfinity (Comcast) this morning in my email. I subscribe to MLB Extra Innings through Xfinity so Bally Sports is affected . Here is a list of teams affected :

DSG owns and operates 14 Bally Sports RSN channels nationwide, including:

Bally Sports Detroit — Airing games from the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Red Wings, and Detroit Pistons
Bally Sports Florida — Airing games from the Miami Marlins, Florida Panthers, and Orlando Magic
Bally Sports Hybrid (IN) — Airing games from the Cincinnati Reds, Detroit Tigers, Columbus Blue Jackets, Indiana Pacers, and Detroit Pistons
Bally Sports Midwest MO — Airing games from the Kansas City Royals and St. Louis Blues
Bally Sports Midwest — Airing games from the St. Louis Cardinals, Kansas City Royals, St. Louis Blues, Indiana Pacers, and Memphis Grizzlies
Bally Sports North — Airing games from the Minnesota Twins, Minnesota Wild, and Minnesota Timberwolves
Bally Sports (North (Manitowoc, WI) — Airing games from the Milwaukee Brewers, Minnesota Wild, and Milwaukee Bucks
Bally Sports Ohio — Airing games from the Cincinnati Reds, Columbus Blue Jackets, and Cleveland Cavaliers
Bally Sports SoCal — Airing games from the Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Ducks, and LA Clippers
Bally Sports South — Airing games from the Atlanta Braves, Nashville Predators, Carolina Hurricanes, and New Orleans Pelicans
Bally Sports Southeast — Airing games from the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, and Memphis Grizzlies
Bally Sports Sun — Airing games from the Tampa Bay Rays, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Miami Heat
Bally Sports Southwest — Airing games from the Texas Rangers, Dallas Stars, and Dallas Mavericks
Bally Sports West — Airing games from the Los Angeles Angels

It appears nine major league teams are affected. Since I have Extra Innings I should be able to watch their games if they are playing a team that's not affected. For instance, Atlanta vs Dodgers is on LADX on Mlb Extra Innings but I will still miss several games.
