Braves are going to be alright, guys.
3rd in hitting. MLB must have replaced baseballs with a sponge this season.
Ahem what? Dude has 35 career saves and 20 blown saves... he sucks as a closer. One inning doesn't change that, lol

Any non closer reliever is going to have stats like that. Blow a lead in the 8th and its a blown save.
Correct
Tricky part is we have stats in save situations. But even then not all of them are in the 9th.
I can understand not trusting Minter though. His career ERA in the 9th inning is much higher than in any other role. But that still suffers a bit from sampling as he only has 89 IP in the 9th inning. But he has better stats in save situations by a hair vs. non-save situations.
Honestly I don't tend to buy into a player not having it for a closer. There are elite closers, but most of that is because they have the best execution of their stuff. I think Minter's stuff just isn't really that great.

It doesn’t take much to look at to see how bad he is as a closer dude.

Sure. But saves/blown saves is a horrible stat to use to show this.
