Trump Trials Watch I

Fun hypothetical question here:

Let’s say Trump is sentenced to prison over this, appeals his conviction all the way to SCOTUS and loses. Then he wins the election anyway. If a conservative SCOTUS agrees the verdict is just, would you oppose Trump pardoning himself? If not, why is that?

(I don’t believe he should receive more than a fine personally)

Why? I support the laws and democracy. If he wins, he wins. Unlike Republics and Orange Jesus, I won't be crying foul. If the intelligence of American voters has fallen that far (not so far, actually) then the country deserves what it gets. It does appear the country has screwed itself in the name of freedom and gratifying every base impulse. Who needs education or real news! Americans have a very real self-destructive tendency and it will be a shame to watch it play out on such a grand scale.

If he's sentenced to prison time he should have to serve it like everybody else, at least until he becomes POTUS anoints himself untouchable. If that happens he really could transform the country to his own liking and go down in history as one of the most powerful leaders ever, until he chokes on a chicken nugget and leaves the country to clean up his mess, which should be significant.

But whatever happens to the country because of him should not be blamed on him. The responsibility will lie with the idiot voters who thought supporting and voting for a con man criminal/fool would be a good idea.

I agree. Donald Trump revealed something very sad about a lot of people in this country.

One thing that baffles me about Trump is how many people actually believe he’s a decent man who wants good things for others. Most of us at least understand that our politicians are awful people that just want power, but somehow this man who barely even hides his contempt for most Americans has convinced an inordinate amount of people that he’s an actual saint.

A lot of words come to mind. I'm going to go with sad.

He can't pardon state crimes.

As if we have a choice that's "decent".

This is what bothers me most about this bull**** political prosecution.

We have countless examples of real, horrific, crimes that have real, actual victims from every president and 95% of politicians.

But they go after the most meaningless nonsense from a decade ago bc they lost their minds

Shameful. The "NORMS" crowd cheers

I disagree. I dont think all politicians are horrible peeople that only want power.
Any more . than all house maids steal liquor, or tire sakesmen are closet pedophiles.

There i s a certain amount of power that comes with that territory
Ask your self this question , why do they want that power and what is their track record in weilding that power..

Remind me again why is Trump running
........

Personally, all I see is a hustller trying to stay out of prison

And enablers that over and over get caught on wrong side of benefit of the doubt

Trump is not a politician and the majority of politicians are not awful people.

This pathetic display will galvanize the country against the criminals that are currently running the country.
