If Republicans knew what would happen 10 years later, I have no doubt they would have pushed harder on this issue. The Dems have zero shame however and have lost their collective minds because OMB.

The Dems have done nothing but start investigations on him since he won the Republican nomination in 2015. And you think it's just some sort of coincidence.....

When you run for office while making campaign promises to get someone, you'll find whatever reason you can to charge that person.

Can you please explain this wasn't a hit job if they spent millions of dollars and are only going to give him maybe a 500k fine?

it has to do with the fact he is a career criminal...the law has been very slow in catching up to him

Bragg's predecessor for a long time weighed bringing charges against him and his children. Before he entered politics.

Then Bragg himself shut down a case that would have resulted in criminal charges for insurance fraud...leading to the resignation of people working on that case

He's caught a lot of breaks along the way. But as happens in life thangs have a way of evening out.

Just because you say it doesn't make it true. I'm willing to believe Trump has done illegal stuff but as of now the evidence is weak unless you want to believe a lot of lawfare.

I believe Trump has history of pushing the limits of what is legal to his benefit. I believe many of his business dealings have been unethical, and illegal, though not criminal. I also believe this is true of 95% of rich people, including the vast majority of congress.

I genuinely do like Trump as a person. I will hold my nose and vote for him this election because the alternative is much worse. I would much rather the Republican nominee have been RDS.

But I don't believe his is the hardened criminal that you are painting him out to be.

The idea of Trump in the lefts eyes is what the right wants him to be.
 
Trump's main problem is PIC (poor impulse control). Sadly, a lot of people with that problem commit crimes. They want to do something and do it without really thinking about the consequences. And when they get away with it for most of their lives, it leads to even greater recklessness and behavior that society sanctions. It is out there for everyone to see. Someone like that needs help. But they usually don't want it. They should not hold high political office. That part should go without saying.

What I don't get is your apparent understanding that Biden is truly awful while simultaneously saying he would wipe the floor against almost all opposition
