2024 debates

Yeah sure, let’s go spend all that money in other countries. I’d prefer for people to not have to leave their homes to escape poverty. Lemme know how that next vote for foreign aid at the expense of our military budget goes.

I’m not overly concerned with the law, actually. I’m concerned with arresting people who have not broken any laws, such as thethe suggesting Trump arrest Obama for just doing things he thinks are bad. Many, many undocumented immigrants are actually paying their fair share of taxes by working here and having their payroll taxes withheld.

If you put a vote to Americans to collectively give 150 billion annually to these countries in exchange for near zero Illegal immigration or paying 150+ billion annually for uncontrolled borders, I am willing to bet that the vast majority of Americans would choose the former.

Imagine a debate of RDS or Vivek just ruthlessly coherently stating facts and objective challenges, instead of "greatest ever, most in history, all the scholars, worst we've ever seen"

Biden may have stroked out

Couldn’t help but think that just about every time Trump was talking. RDS, Haley, Christie, whoever. Not that all the other (R) in the field are good…I’d almost certainly not vote for many of them…but in the context of last night’s debate, I think any of them would’ve made the contrast with Biden even sharper. And would’ve been disciplined enough on message to really knock him out.

There is zero chance RDS or Vivek or even Haley would have lost to Biden last night. I mean it wouldn't even have been close. The only things Biden landed on last night were Trumps legal issues. Biden was terrible on his policy answers and his age issues were overly apparent.

thethe can you finally admit Trump wasn't the only choice?

There is no reason to assume a debate ever happens because of how much better he would poll against some of these other candidates.

The thing that is driving this collapse is the movement of historically reliable D voters over to R in this cycle and you can list many reaosons but one of them is certainly Trumps record during his first term on the economy and his overall persona which is appealing to many people.

This is what my 2 year old nephew’s daycare teacher says when he correctly names all the animals on his flash cards

Jill is just another example of how inherently corrupt and disgusting the Biden crime family is.

We've never not had a debate. Why would that change suddenly?

After this he said thank you 5x then said “I want to go home with all of you now” then they pulled rhe microphone away

I’ve been told that what a juggernaut up there!

I think Trumps off the cuff remarks can land with some people. Too restrained would feel robotic.

But like yeah- I can get elected if put on a debate stage with that corpse. His record is awful, and the glasses of water like mgt that don’t care about American lives will still click dem because they would rather suffer the ills of a diaper wearer as POTUS than someone mentally fit. Its literally unAmerican to consciously vote dem when you KNOW it will be destructive to America

Come on. I mean come the **** on.

There are times when you can come back to earth a little. This is one of those times.

We give too much foreign aid as it is. We can’t float the world. If we go under the countries that receive it will just get worse.

Gotta take care of the body of the tit you feed off of or else the food source will dry up. This is basic common sense

Keep continuing to think I have no clue what I'm talking about. And continue to watch things unfold the way I say they will.

There’s also the matter of the question that’s so rarely asked - is the aid effective?

Just like they did from 2018-2022, right?

(This isn’t meant as arrogance for Trump’s chances in 2024, I’m well aware he could win)

I’d argue it’s at least likely to be more effective than all the bombing and coup-supporting we’ve spent so much of our money on in the past.

You could , and most would be against that too but it doesn’t make aid effective either
