2024 Field

TF you talking about?

Why are student outcomes and measurable (reading levels, SATs, test scores, etc) at all time lows in 2024, despite the amazing dept of education and the federal government spending more $ per student than any time in history?

Finally we can focus on the other candidate, who is a rapist, convicted felon and pathological narcissist who has precisely two interests in government, using it to revenge himself on his perceived enemies, and extracting as much money as possible for himself and his cronies

I’d say it’s a lot of factors one of which is a trrrible department of education like you said. But our societal issues are much deeper than a specific government agency.

Subsidizing it makes the problem worse, as demonstrated in the data

That is not true.

Who is going to feed the roughly 40 million Americans who still struggle to feed their families with the current system in place? I would love your plan here. I've explained how all charities combined don't even bring half as much in donations as we spend on SNAP alone.

A good way to lose national elections is to say we will cut things like SNAP. I’d rather expand snap and take away monetary entitlements.

But the people that push this stuff make a lot of money protesting from the minority.

Show your work.

And also, we aren't talking about apples to apples here. Testing and standards today are superior than they were 50+ years ago. I think you'll also find that SAT scores are largely saturated today because there are vastly more students taking these tests and going to college now than the there were 50 years ago.

50 years ago, students with similar intellect and family income levels (adjusted for inflation) were going straight into the work force after HS. Going to college after HS was simply far less common than it is now. Only about 1/3 of HS students in 1970 would continue on to obtain higher educations vs nearly 2/3 of HS students now. That means far fewer kids were taking the SATs, and the ones that did were likely to be fairly intelligent in the first place.

You've literally been bitching to thethe non stop over the last several weeks about Trump being a socialist, and now you want to give that person MORE power.

Got it.

I want the executive branch to function as the constitution requires, which gives the president authority over the executive branch.

How can you look at what is happening today in Bidens administration and not see the country is being run by people you nor I ever voted for

It's not lost on me that promising free money to people is good for getting votes.

Doesn't mean it's good for our country

Seems to not be working very well.

How's Gavin Newsom's $25 billion to fight homelessness in California over the last 5 years worked out for reducing honelessness?

Housing is a need. But housing is also pretty far down the totem poll among human needs compared to food.
