I think you’ll see alot of rest down the stretch for Sale, Lopez, and SS. I think thats why we saw Fried go on the IL was to get him rest. We may see the same thing with a couple of the other guys to.

Can this team afford to rest pitchers with the crap that replaces them and only a game or so up in the race.

Thats why Murphy cant string anything together and why i wasnt sad they traded WC. He wouldnt have gotten a chance here either. I like TDA but he shouldnt be the primary C.

Couple more stats. SS last 5 starts 26 IP 28 k 1 walk. Last 7 starts 36 IP 41 k 3 walks. Honestly more impressive than Soroka when he came up imo. His career high is 2 walks....

He was good in the minors in a short sample but man he has really progressed and found the best sequence pf pitches that work for him. Makes AA’s job a little easier this winter.

He is probably better than soroka truthfully. Soroka was really lucky for most of his pre-injury play. SS has been actually unlucky.
