Hey, I can't spell but I only spelled two incorrectly....Schewlenbach (or whatever) and Stridor(Strider) but you spelled Fried ...Fired.

Give my a break...you know that would be the best rotation in MLB.

The New York TV broadcasters are giving major props to the Braves' character and resilience for not collapsing after the first two losses--the first of which was caused by a series of boneheaded plays. I say this all the time but, to me, the Mets radio and TV guys are the gold standard.

Oh, really, don't believe you for a minute......and what difference does it make.....you know that's a great rotation and it's very, very possible but need to get another catcher....get rid of Murph......strong arms for catchers are greatly over rated. We need a better hitter.

I was not saying that rotation would not be great. I repeat, I was not saying that rotation wouldn’t be great. One. More. Time. I never wrote anything close to staying that rotation wouldn’t be great. Did you read that 3 times? Is it sinking in at all?

Forrest, lolol, I always misspell their names....always. And usually on purpose (I have been corrected before on the spelling of Striders name but I still spell it incorrectly). You would do so poorly on the stand. A good prosecutor would catch you every time. You said I misspelled all five names......I misspelled two....that's 40%.

Well, I hope they don't waste money on another starter.....just forget this season and get everyone healthy and work on the rest of the lineup for next year....another catcher who can halfway hit, get Acuna healthy and get Olson back to hitting.

C is definitely not a position of need. Murphy is just fine. He just needs a manager that doesnt platoon him.

So, what position do you think is in need? Please don't tell me 'pitcher'. We need to work really hard on keeping what we have. Catcher is a position which needs to be platooned.
So, d'Arnaud does fine being platooned....much better than Murphy but I wouldn't expect him to play everyday either but platooning him doesn't seem to affect him.

Depends on the starter. If they decide to plan ahead and trade for someone under control that would essentially replace Fried for 2025 then I see no reason not to make that move.
 
These last 2 games were a gut punch for the Mets...I feel really good about our arms in a short series...We've got to get better at the deadline and make run for the WC...
