2024 Field

I understand that different goods fluctuate in price based on supply and demand. Energy is a fine example

But *inflation* is the result of deficit spending. Nothing more nothing less. It's why*everything* is higher priced today in terms of dollars, as opposed to cyclical goods

I’m so glad you’ve completely and totally sorted out one of the biggest challenges of modern Economics.

Seems to be a rarity in today's society

We aren't $6t out of thin air and then are confused about higher prices. What could it be!?!?

No he’d talk about energy and immigration which are two of the biggest drivers. That’s actual substance as opposed to the word salad that comes out of the inauthentic Harris

If he talked about energy and immigration it would take 2 seconds for him to land on windmills being bad and immigrants bringing drugs and crime.

And normal people would understand the story of focusing too much attention to wasteful green energy programs is what’s driving energy costs up. And all those points on immigrants are true so that’s a fantastic talking point.

But again this is in comparison to a simpleton in Harris trying to word salad her way through a book she never read.

I think you’re setting the baseline for what a normal reaction is to Trump’s sprawling nonsense far too closer to your own views. I really, really don’t think the polls are going to back you up on Trump’s command of the issues when he’s not up against Biden.

If we want to talk about glasses of water:

Trump demanding the debate be changed to Fox and then claiming *Harris* is the one backing out is such a silly argument, yet Chicken-mala Harris is trending.

I just don't think Trump is this world class debater y'all seem to think he is

Trump is a terrible debater… pretty amusing anyone thinks he’s good. All he does is yell insults and say the last election was stolen. He doesn’t know how to talk policy (not sure he even knows his policies).

Has Trump previously agreed to a debate with Harris?

Has Trump previously agreed to a debate with Harris?

CNN and ABC News laid out five criteria for qualifying for their debates. The candidates must:

Be constitutionally eligible to serve as president
File a statement of candidacy with the Federal Election Commission
Have their name appear on enough state ballots to reach the threshold of 270 electoral votes needed to win the presidency
Agree to the debate's rules and format
Receive at least 15% in four separate national polls of registered or likely voters that meet CNN or ABC News standards.
Mr. Biden and Trump are the only two candidates seeking the presidency who qualify under those terms so far. It's unlikely that Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., who is running as an independent, will be on the stage because of the polling requirement and number of states where he has secured access to the ballot.

Now that Harris has secured the nomination (admittedly in a stupid way I don’t agree with) I think he technically did?

For what it’s worth, I agree Fox should get a debate. It should be the one with ABC and the one with Fox. But Trump shouldn’t get to run away from the debate and then claim Harris is ducking the one he wants to replace it with.

Trump is not the one who ducks hard arenas. He proves it over and over again.

The next tough question Harris takes will be her first since stealing the parties nomination.

Nonsense - it’s a completely different matchup and trump would gladly go on abc if Harris goes on Fox. We know how this is going to go though.

If RFK had made the requirements, it’d be a much different debate too. If Harris ran as a third party candidate and made the requirements, she’d be in the debate. Cry all you want, but the rules are technically being followed I believe.

No rule us being followed as what’s happened with Harris is unprecedented. Of course you want no ramifications and pretend this is normal.

No rules were broken in this process. Again, I’m not going to spin the process that led to this ticket as a positive. While I’m pessimistic that it will be addressed, the primary process was shown to be flawed and too reverential to the incumbent. I hope it’s fixed. But there’s a reason you’re not seeing a bunch of lawsuits gaining traction, and that’s because the presumptive nominee is able to withdraw.

I don't give a crap about 'legality' - It's just plain wrong but because its hte Democrats they will get away with it.

however, you can't just pretend we are in the same election contest that Trump was in with Biden. Its just another example of the Dems just wanting all the benefit and none of the negatives since the system coddles them.
