Jayson Tatum- 0 minutes again. Probably the most overrated player in the NBA.
You still cant call a team good? They gotta be the best?
OKC defense was solid, possibly the back end of the top 10. They add a couple good defensive/role players. Tops in the league? We will see, that is a really big jump.
There is not a decent dropoff between OKC and the Mavs/Wolves/Nuggest....if any.
They were charted as a top 5 defense last year and brought in two studs defensively.
Another year of Chet/J-Dub development will make the defense even better.
Out of the gate I'd put OKC as hte favorites to be ranking the #1 defense in the NBA next year.
I am still a big believer in Simmons..

Not sure when that post was from but it’s ugly watching sometimes. Should study what happened to this guy.
It was years ago. BTW I assume you stopped that feeling quickly with him it's just funny to me how quickly people's perceptions on a player can change. That was like 3 years ago, in under a year everyone was bailing on him.
I assume injuries played a part but usually guys who peak as rookies, there's some kind of hole in their game (see Jeff Francoeur)
This is the most shocked I’ve ever been by an NBA trade. I’m not even sure what is second. What the actual F?

The Mavs could win a title this year… maybe two titles!… and you could still make a valid case this was a disaster trade for them.
Not often the case.
It's a weird trade. I can't help but put on my conspiracy hat and blame this on Kyrie not being happy at SG and the Mavs believing they're a dominant big away from the title.
I think this could wind up being another Red Sox sell babe ruth.
Honestly seeing him and Bron on the same court is silly.

Luka either made it known he wasn't interested in staying long term (rumors were also stating he wanted super maz).
Guy is 25 and out of shape so maybe its a future play.
But even with all that you shop him. Why Anthony Davis?
If Luka had a torn ACL and a meth problem, he still should’ve commanded more in a trade. The stuff coming out of the Mavs FO trying to rationalize this move is what you’d expect to hear the Pelicans FO say if they traded Zion. Which would be fine and would make sense, considering he’s never really accomplished anything in the league. But Luka at 25 already has five 1st team all-NBA selections and just carried the team to the Finals. How you trade that for a 31 year old Anthony Davis (talk about health concerns!) and one measly FRP (they couldn’t even get the Lakers’ 2031 pick too!? No swap options!?) is just incredible.
I’m glad it’s a Sunday because I’ve thought about almost nothing but this all day, lol.
I can confirm the rumors that Luka wanted the Super Max.
