Riley out 6-8 weeks

I think Ramon, Luke, Eli, Dufail, and Kelenic were on the team when he was signed and all were much better options.

Uh, Kelenic was playing CF, and Laureano’s numbers were worse than Rosario’s at that time.

White, Luke, and Duvall are debatable. But Duvall was also playing full RF at that time anyway.

I am going to just ride this wave and hope for the "I am on a better team" bump from Gio... It is comically unfair what has happened to this team.. so this is stab wound number 30 that this team had to suffer through.

have they announced corresponding move (Riley to 60day or are they DFA someone to make room on 40 man roster)?

On the plus side Soler/Harris/Ozuna/Olson/Catcher still gives us a formidable Top 5 if they’re all hitting. It’s gonna be a bonus when the bottom of the lineup does anything.

I don't have high hopes for Urshella. But he should be considerably better than Luke Williams.

It's funny that it took all these guys getting hurt to finally get some quality bench pieces. The only problem is that our main stars are missing a good bit of time.

If we can somehow limp to the post-season with a fully healthy team (minus Acuna and Strider), I have confidence in this team. We will have essentially upgraded our bench to Luareano, Urshela, and Merrifield.

It doesn't seem to me like he's really capable of playing SS in any sort of manner other than in an emergency situation for a game.

agreed, but if the team loses Arcia for any given amount of time, then there isn't much hope and you could put twit out there and expect the same results.

Riley won’t be available until at least the DS, and wrist injuries are hard to come back from.

Jack Kochanowicz, "wouldn't it be nice to help the Phil's get into the playoffs and I can go home to watch my favorite team". Who do the Brave's play for seven more games? And without Riley?

From Mark Bowman: https://www.mlb.com/news/braves-need...r-playoff-push

With seven of their next 14 games against the Phillies, the Braves have a chance to resuscitate their bid for a seventh straight NL East title.

However:

Insurmountable deficit? Probably.

Insurmountable deficit without Riley? Definitely.

Per Cy:
You have serious issues.

So are the serious issues with what Mark Bowman said? Or, are the issues with what I think about Kochanowicz? I'm not the only one who thinks that. There are those on other boards who think that too and probably on this board too but they just won't say it.

Seek help.

I guarantee you no one else here shares that opinion about the Angels pitcher secretly being a ****ing double agent.
