2024 Field

If the media was truly objective, they would be running banner headlines every day about one of the candidates being bat**** crazy. But they aint.

He's energy level and interest in campaigning looks like it's running out. He looks like he knows he's losing and he can't stand it.

That ridiculous mumbling ramble in the police garage has to be a new low in Presidential election speeches.

to be fair it never had a chance to succeed after net neutrality!

Since Net Neutrality was reinstated my rural town and other rural towns in my area have gotten fiber internet after decades of domination from Charter/TWC.

Going from "300 Mbps" 2 2 gigs has been lovely. Thanks Biden for reinstating net neutrality and giving me options for my internet!

Been lost for a long time - I wonder when we are going to get an update on how X would be dead in the water after Musk took it over....

You don't think twitter is dead? It's a bot farm now. Propped up by useful idiots and corporations. It's a shell of it's former self.

Twitter's Q4 revenue in 2023 was the worst Q4 revenue since 2018, Literally half what it was in Q4 2021. Their Q1 2024 was the worst quarter for revenue since Q2 2015.

Twitters revenue in the US in 2023 was the lowest since 2018. Which means more of it's revenue is coming from outside the US (aka Chinese and Russian interests)

X killed Twitter. It's only a matter of time until Elon gets tired of X and pawns it off to someone else to manage.

The problem is you judge revenue as the sole metric for strength of the organization. Then when you use your brain a decrease in revenue isn’t all that alarming. X will dominate the market for a decade

Drops in revenue are always alarming.

Sure profit is the key driver, but if you don't have revenue growth your business isn't growing. SInce Musk ahs taken over revenue has shrunk. Anyone with half a brain on how to run a business knows that to grow you need revenue to increase.

They think only a shutdown can be proof twatter under Musk failed. Trumps social media boondoggle is debt by about 1534956105% of its revenue and still chugging along. Truth Social would make more money if it just had a bartender follow Googliani around to sell him alcohol. Twatter wont ever shut down. I think even myspace is still going.

... you think net neutrality is responsible for fiber internet?

Social Media seems like a business where there’s a pretty hard upper bound (long-term at least) on decreasing expenses to impact profitability so I’m curious as to why revenue wouldn’t be the biggest metric for such a company?

I mean he got boycotted by the GMA for advertising.

Shocker

When you do the slightest bit of reserach you'd know that Elon has been the target of a coordinated campaign for advertising dollars.

Its ok guys - At some point you won't be clueless.

LMAO

Of course it's the deep state, globalists, etc.

It's not that advertisers lost money because of false information being spread on twitter, it's not that advertisers need to see return on their investment of advertising and don't get that ROI from bots. Nope not at all.

I've pointed it out a hundred times already, Eli Lilly got their market cap shell shocked because someone posed as them blue checkmark and All, and said they'd be making insulin free for everyone. Eli Lilly's stockinstantly tumbled almost 5% and they lost 15 billion on their market cap and pulled out of advertising.

What's stupid is Musk could have avoided all this by not giving paid users a blue checkmark and instead they get a silver or gold or green or any other color checkmark, or perhaps instead of the blue verified checkmark, they got a blue bird checkmark.

Advertisers would invest in ads on twitter if there was return on it. It's common sense.
