So it appears the Jackson move didn't hurt because the offense decided not to do sh*t.
I won't even say I hope the Tor pitching staff sh*ta the bed like they did vs Philly but that would still be enough to shut these bays down.
The Mets best friend his not having to play...just let the Braves lose them back into the race.
We're likely to get at least 88-89 wins. And yet, we still may miss the playoffs. This, while missing Strider and Acuna virtually all year. Albies and Harris for 60 games. Murphy for 50 games. Riley for 30 games. And Fried and Lopez for 4-5 starts.
It's frustrating to see us lose games we should win, as we still have some talented pieces that aren't playing up to par. But to be honest, it's a miracle we're even still in the hunt considering we can field an all-star team with the players who have been on the IL this year.
Every one of those guys plus Olson has been way worse than last year, so it isn't just injuries. Looks to me most the team took an offseason off
To be honest, I think that performance last night finally broke the braves' back. I think the Mets finish ahead of the Braves by 2+ games
Max on the mound tonight…. That’ll fix the macabre mood around here…
