GDT 9/22/24: Braves @ Marlins - Holmes before we go home

Dbags don’t mean anything really. If the Braves lose the Mets series then it won’t matter what they do. If the Braves win the Mets series then it won’t really matter what they do because the Braves will be tied or ahead of the Mets already. So it scoreboard watching them seems pointless except for some extreme scenarios.

Or, now check this out, the Mets win tonight and the Braves take 2 of 3 from them. Mets would still be in over the Braves. So, rooting for all possible scenarios seems reasonable, even if it isn’t likely.

In that case you have to hope the Braves sweep the royals and the dbags go 3-3. Extreme scenario. It is sweep the Mets or bust imo. That is the only probable path. Everything else highly unlikely.

It is twits job to put those guys in the best possible position to win. Just this series you could count 3-4 tactical errors that talent helped cover up. Blame some players if fine but if you can’t see twit’s horrible decision making then not sure what to tell you.
 
Gotta sweep the Mets now if we want to go dancing. Simple as that.

The Braves couldn’t sweep a quad A marlins team when it was vital they did. In fact they probably should have lost 2 or 3. Now the season depends on them sweeping a Mets team who has been best in baseball for several months. Ok.
 
Man the Braves have really backed themselves into a corner. We always play better against good teams so thats a plus going into this series. All the Mets really need to do is win 1 game. If they win the first game of the series then its pretty much over.

Instead of prepping for the Mets series, they’re out partying. I have serious doubts if this team even cares about making the playoffs.
