Because their ENTIRE platform was Trump was a threat to democracy and a Nazi. You rarely heard them talk about actual policy and when they did it was vague or noncommittal or just an super unpopular plan. And if Dem turnout is any indication, it seems like people didn't enjoy having a candidate they didn't vote for installed on their behalf.
Cajuns signature just is so good right now.

I sure hope the DNC learned its ****ing lesson this time around. Nobody is buying what Dick and Liz Cheney are selling, so stop trying to ****ing sell it. America will not simply vote against Trump, they need to vote *for* something. I hope they’re ready to take a real look inward and move toward a positive vision for voters rather than 4 more years of running on the fear of Trump.

Hard agree. They had it figured out for about 3 weeks when Biden dropped out but instead of building on the momentum through policies, even pretty aggressively leftist policies that wouldn’t work with Republican voters, they retreated back to the same strategy that didn’t work before without the help of a global pandemic. Get back to talking about normal people, not Donald Trump.
