Dem turnout is down for many reasons but the primary reason is not what you're saying.
 
I sure hope the DNC learned its ****ing lesson this time around. Nobody is buying what Dick and Liz Cheney are selling, so stop trying to ****ing sell it. America will not simply vote against Trump, they need to vote *for* something. I hope they’re ready to take a real look inward and move toward a positive vision for voters rather than 4 more years of running on the fear of Trump.

Hard agree. They had it figured out for about 3 weeks when Biden dropped out but instead of building on the momentum through policies, even pretty aggressively leftist policies that wouldn’t work with Republican voters, they retreated back to the same strategy that didn’t work before without the help of a global pandemic. Get back to talking about normal people, not Donald Trump.

This is where you are still not seeing it. It was a complete media fabrication that never actually made its way through the people of this country. This would have bgeen the outcome 1 month / 3 months / 6 months ago.

This is true. I'll add that the policy they did talk about didn't resonate with people. The Dems went heavy on abortion which, according to one poll, was the top issue of only 14% of people.

The economy is virtually always the top issue and this year was no different. Inflation has eaten people alive and the Dems either couldn't or refused to make it the basis of their campaign.
 
Well the messaging on Abortion was terrible too.

It’s a state issue, and that’s that. He’s not taking away medical care for prenatal women. It’s a lie of the worst kind.

Everyone knows deep down Trump won 2020 in a landslide.

At 10PM that night it was going that way. Then all the swing states stopped counting at the same time.

We all know what happened.
 
What will be even worse for legacy media is when Trump isn't a dictator and brings success about for all people.

Its going to be an even bigger landslide in 2028.
