The War to Settle the Score - Election Day 2024

The was a resounding and wholesale rejection of the left and its policies the last four years.

From loan forgiveness, to open borders, DEI, to gender shenanigans … whatever.

Whatever it’s been the Dems lost on it and have been for two years now. Too slow on the pivot.

Agreed. I keep saying it, but I am just amazed at these margins. Dems have to be rethinking their platform going forward. FL and TX are looking like Republican strongholds. NJ, NH, NM, and VA went way closer to center. Even NY and Illinois weren't the typical Blue powerhouses they normally are.

Granted, Obama had huge margins his first term and they faded by 2016. So anything could happen by 2028. Of course, had the Dems ran a better candidate than Hillary in 2016 they likely would have won.

Frankly their roster just isn't that deep.

It's hard to believe how deep the GOP roster is currently.

Um, shouldn't Harris have had a concession speech by now? Last night she said they'd be back in the morning at HU.

We have a potential runway of 40-50 years as long as we don't fall into the traditional republican economic mindset.

The covid tyranny was probably least popular among people in my age group (this demo)

Old people supported it bc they were scared. Young people liked it, they got to stay home on their phones which is what they do anyway.

But this demo actually grew up in a time where we remember what it was like to be somewhat free

Why TF is AZ only at 61% reporting nearly 17 hours after the last poll closed? That is just pathetic.

Someone said this Harris performance was such a disaster, FEMA is gonna send her a check for $750.

The missing part of your puzzle are people in NJ who wouldn't vote for Harris but would vote for Biden.

Keep in mind NJ (as well as VA, NH, etc.) have republicans regularly in power. But NE republicans arne't the same as national republicans. They're not especially religious zealots and they're more fiscal conservatives and socially moderate.

Kamala didn't bridge that gap of more moderate conservatives with new voters.

But that's a bigger question.

I still believe that if we had a dem primary Trump isn't president but the ****ery of the last year and the dems shifting gears was too much to overcome even against someone you can take easy shots at like Trump. Had harris had multiple debates she could have made some serious distance.

New jersey, New Hampshire, New York all more purple than FL and Texas.

And you guys thought you'd get Fl, Tx, and iowa.

Silly geese.
