Traditionally sure. Kamala made some campaign promises but they rang kind of hollow when she is pretty much the incumbent. Its also about messaging. Democrats suck at and unfortunately Trump is the king of it. When I say they offered people nothing I am talking about the perception of the average voter. Only perception matters in politics. Like the perception that Trump is a strong Christian man when reality is he is barely religious.

Dems had plenty of chances to code abortion into law. They chose not to every step of the way. Likely because it wasn't popular down ballot in many key states. I doubt that even if they ever got a super majority in the house and senate again that they would ever pass such a law.,
 
Abortion is going to also become less and less popular over the next few decades.

Democrats will start to lose on that issue nationally because of how radical they are.

Using 'results' of elections that anyone with a brain know include massive levels of cheating from the left as a barometer of popularity is the same kind of fail as pumping obvious MSM suppression polls to say Trump is going to lose.
