Looking towards 2025

I think we should all meet up and arm wrestle... maybe a beer drinking contest. Let's settle these pissing contests like men.

I might do okay in the Senior Division, although I've been sober for 40 years so two beers and I'd be down for the count. Could always hit the gym and not embarrass myself (but probably still lose) at arm wrestling. But if you're bringing some of that famous gas station fried chicken, I'm there!

GSFC is probably a better prize than anyone else could come up with. Besides Cys Mom and Escheffs White knight syndrome pulling all the weight, all the good characters are gone.

Wheres Chip Carays pantsless cocaine parties when you need em?

So who is non-tendered?

Kelenic and Lee are the only sure bets.

I’d non tender Ramon and Ynoa.

White may be worth keeping at 800K, but he’s out of options and it’s hard to see him on the roster all season.

Canning can go either way. It depends on whatever the reasoning was when we traded for him.

Kelenic and Lee non tendered? I doubt it

Alright, it's clear what the two of you need... get your d**ks out and measure. That should help clear up some things.

Here are their arb projections:

Ramon Laureano (5.159): $6.1MM

Huascar Ynoa (3.117): $825K

Jarred Kelenic (2.169): $2.3MM

Dylan Lee (2.150): $1.2MM

Eli White (2.140): $800K

Griffin Canning (5.075): $5.1MM

Lee and Kelenic are obvious tenders.

I'd keep Ynoa and White because they are cheap filler options.

Laureano is tricky because he's a quality bench option that AA usually can't sign via FA due to Snit letting them rot on the bench. He might be worth overpaying a bit just to avoid paying someone like Duvall $3M again.

Canning is also tricky since $5M is a lot for a low end innings eater who may not be much better than the AAAA fodder the Braves have for free. I'd either sign him for something like $3M or cut him loose.

Kelenic and Lee are no brainers. Laureano I think should be tendered. No long term risk. Has a solid track record mashing lefties and can play all 3 OF spots. With Acuna starting on the DL we need an extra OFer to start the year that we are cool with DFAing a month into the season. I might try an offer of 2 years 10 million to see if he would accept. Ynoa and White I expect gone. Canning I think they keep. I think they view him as the swingman between the rotation and pen. If they can get his homer rate down he could be decent for us.

Where I would be hesitant about Laureano is that he was pretty much in the wilderness in 2022 and 2023 and really only had a decent half-season with the Braves. His offensive profile is all batting average driven, making it difficult to depend upon. I will be fine with whatever direction the Braves take, but I would really look at whatever outside possibilities (there are no inside possibilities) exist before pushing the button.

I will be surprised if they offer Canning a tender. I think the only tender Canning gets is if msstate sends him some of that gas station chicken.

He had a good 41 games with the Indians to end 2023. His stats look very similar over the last 4 years with just his babip fluctuating. I dont know that he is a fulltime starter but I think he is atleast a solid platoon bat. He is only 30 and he was viewed as an up and coming star just 4 years ago.

I care about everybody here, but the p*ssing contests get a bit tedious.

Man 99% of the posts here are totally sarcastic BS, and one page of back and forth gets you guys riled up?

Everyone’s going soft especially during this dick measuring contest lol

Must have been tough on yall when Dalyn, Julio etc were here
