Second ('Third') Trump Presidency Thread

[tw]1864372727194251697[/tw]

Just like Cajun - Becuase these TDS riddled morons have decided in their minds that Trump WILL break norms they need to break even more norms before he may

I agree with you that this is really stupid. Again, I think we need to re-consider the amount of autonomy Presidents apparently have with pardons if Joe’s blanket pardon is indeed legal, which seems to be the legal consensus.

Then why is it only happening to them? Plenty of appointments have been presented by Trump that should be horrifying to the Deep State supposedly creating these claims out of thin air, yet it’s only some of them that are getting these stories told about them. And it sure is weird that it happens to be to the weirdly aggressive and self-centered people like Hegseth and Gaetz that are having these kinds of claims stick. It’s almost as if these guys could have actually just committed sex crimes, which is a thing a lot of people do every day. Why is it that you never seem to consider the possibility that at least *some* of these claims about these types of people are true? Do you not think it’s even possible that Hegseth could have done this? Do you think these things just don’t happen or that he’s just a “good” entertainment personality and it’s only the more liberal ones like Diddy that do this?

Because they are just taking the only line of attack that can upend the nomination.

Suprirse! Many successful men have some hazy history with women and lots of it is done after the fact when women think they were raped (really just feeling guilty). IT doesn't matter who, or how many its happening to, it just matters that its happening and its completely bull****. This also ignores its completely irrelevant to the job that needs to be done.

Kind of off-topic, but this seems like the best catch all thread right now. This **** is awful and I sincerely hope the Trump Admin or Congress acts on this somehow.

In a civilized world this would be paid for - Its just a shame we have people who don't understand the societal benefit to ensuring that it is.

Look, I’m not even trying to sell you on a Believe All Women argument, but this is really ****ing silly. “It’s a conspiracy because guys like Gaetz and Hegseth are known for their sexual antics” isn’t the rebuttal you think it is. My question isn’t why this wouldn’t effectively end his candidacy, it’s why you think so many other powerful men aren’t having their nominations sunk similarly. Why am I not hearing about how Marco Rubio is a sex monster? And why then is it *more* likely to you that the claims specifically about Gaetz and Hegseth are false just because it’s seen as a bigger scandal?

What does it matter if it isn't? I think the establishment is clearly nervous about guys like Gaetz/Hegseth upsetting hte apple card and have spent millions doing reserach on their past.

Again - It has exactly 0 impact on whether or not they can do the job or not.

These men did not commit crimes. All that exists are unsavory salacious allegations that people run with in order to torpedo the nomination.

The fact that it even matters is a sad state of affairs of our country.

"Everything that's good should be free!!!"

I’d frankly settle for a happy medium where at least when I’m paying for insurance that they aren’t dictating the terms of my care. This feels less like a specific situation where we need to replace the system and more where we just need strong consumer protections from insurance ****ery.

I don't know the specifics of the headline you posted but trust me I'm not one to defend our current health insurance system. Its a system that has been completely infected by big government socialized intervention that has given us the worst of both worlds

But it cracks me up how much of a socialist thethe is. I'd imagine he wouldn't trade our healthcare system for Canada, where it's "paid for" but who knows he back to his ignoring me bc I committed blasphemy

I’d certainly argue it does matter to at least some extent in any major government role given the questions it potentially raises regarding decision-making and just the amount they’re hiding even from their spouses, but I can see your point generally. However, this isn’t the Department of the Interior or some ****, these are the people in charge of our federal law enforcement or military. Even if character and integrity are basically myths in Washington, I think it’s more than reasonable to consider whether or not the person in charge of those particular parts of our government is a sexual pest.

Im over 40 and have never had a health insurance company pull shenanigans like that... theres something off about it.

It usually isn't that in depth.

SO you think a sexual past, with no indications that the same type of alleged activities are currently taking place, matters for someone?

This is just a ridiculous standard to take which basically boils down to believe all women regardless of the facts and circumstances of each sitution.

Hegseth sexual history has literally zero to do with his ability to ensure the countries military is ready for anything that may come up in the future and to serve the country well. Thinking otherwise is just silly talk.

Looks to me that insurance ocmpanies saw that spend related to anestiology was increasing at rates they were uncomfortable with and determined that procedures are going way over time length which therefore required more anestiology spend.

Not sure how releavnt this might be to any of our previous histories.

So who is the source on any of this? They on record?

On Hegseth?

A married women went into Hegesths hotel room while her husband and kids were sleeping in another room in the hotel. Then a few days later she said she was raped most likelyi to defend herself against her husband who was planning on divorcing her as a result.

I'm fairly certain this is the story that I've read but would be happy to see if any other facts exists.

Thats between them and the provider, not the insured.

They will figure it out.

Bitches be crazy man

I've actually seen that play out in person in college. Woman tried to claim a virgin raped her.

And all too often flock to good looking/powerful men. Its not all too hard to look into someones past like that and find a women who CLAIMS that she was raped.

I have no experience with hospital billing but if the hospitals believe that some type of spend will not be reimbuse they will restrict those services in the future. I don't think that is where we want to go.

Ultimately, it has to be sorted out at the provider level as you said but from a cost perspective. Why are procedures going over? How much of the insurance reimbrusement is actually going to true life saving procedures and not administrative bloat.

We need a complete overhaul of our medical care system so that one can be created to serve all Americans. First step in that is to kick out all illegals to determine just how much spend exists. Then we can figure ouit what options are available.

Then of course MSM found 10 ANONOMOUS sources to say Heseth was an alcoholic while on set while almost 20 ON THE RECORD souces says thats complete bull****.

Anyone that thinks any of this is real or would impact Hegseths ability to do the job is just a partisan that doesn't want Trump to create a cabinet the way he earned.
