Some Red State/Blue State Indicia

I'm ok with attacking a belief system - Nothing is ever perfect as we are man. But there is imperfection and then there is Muhammed.

Yeah, I’m also willing to attack a belief system that I find harmful. But I don’t think the vast majority of Christians, Jewish people or Muslims are anything but decent people doing the best they can for their families and communities. So even if I don’t share in your faith, I see the positive aspects and applications of that faith for a lot of people. I don’t think *I’m* right about whether or not there’s a God and I don’t claim to have any better reasons for my lack of faith than you do for your faith. So as long as an individual isn’t using that faith to call for outcomes I find objectionable, I don’t like to attack it, and find the atheists and agnostics who gleefully do so to be idiots.

I wonder how many lesbians Oregon and Washington and Nevada sent to help fight the Cali fires?

my guess would be quite a few. There are many many female firefighters regardless sexual orientation.

Besides, who cares their sexual orientation.

It is none of your phooking business

Mexico sent firefighters as well as Canada.

Even though the incoming administration has threatened

for lack of a better word, annexation

I'm sure you are aware ?

Anyone that doesn't see child multilation as an indefensible action lacks faith and should seek it immediately.

I would argue in this case faith is immaterial. Time is the issue. The 21st century vs the 6th (or earlier)

Curious if child mutilation is hidden in the Olf Testament Bible ?????

Only problem is statistics show there is anywhere between 200-400M Muslims thst woood either die for their faith using suicide methods or support it. And that’s the game version.

2023 state per capita gdp

New York $90,703 (up 40% since 2014)

Florida $56,571 (up 19% since 2014)

Therein lies a familiar tale. A big gap favoring a blue state has gotten even bigger in the past decade. Florida is a nice place to retire. New York is where a lot of them set themselves up to be able to retire somewhere warm.

It is impressive that per capita GDP has grown twice as fast in New York in the past decade. Imagine what they could have accomplished with competent governance!

The four states with the fastest per capita GDP growth in the past decade:

1) New York
2) Massachusetts
3) Washington
4) California

It is unbearably unfair that not only are people in those states better educated, longer lived and better looking, but they also enjoy the fastest per capita GDP growth. To be fair the numbers are skewed by them shedding a disproportionate number of older, less well educated residents while attracting younger better educated and better looking people.

However, folks in the red states do have their liberty!! Freedom from tyranny comes with a price and they are willing to pay it!!

I do want to give Arkansas a shoutout. One of this year's Nobel Prize winners in chemistry grew up in Little Rock. But I don't think he's going back!

Perhaps emblematic of the migration of talented well-educated young people.
