Credit where it’s due for DeSantis, there’s a portion of the Right Wing pop culture sphere that he very adeptly keeps himself out of.

Give up your gas appliances.

Oh and also we don't have enough electricity for your toaster

I don't think no-knocks should be completely eliminated but they need to be curtailed.

It needs to be illegal when there are other options. If a suspect leaves the house regularly there's no reason not to apprehend them when they leave home and then do the search.

There's no way this works. Color me skeptical. But a standard ass outlet can barely power a single kind of high power burner.

The reality is that 120v say it's on a 20 amp line, that means a max of 2400 watts. Which is probably OK but I doubt you'd have it fully on demand.

I mean, an electric stove that reliably runs on 120 would actually be ****ing awesome. But like Zito, I’m pretty ****ing skeptical.

That cake will get done baking at 200, eventually

I have an oven that runs on 120 and it's fine, but it's not big, it is probably about half maybe a third of the size of a normal oven though. And if I boil my tea kettle or run my fryer at the same time it blows my circuit and I have to run to my basement and flip the breaker if both of the units go full load at the same time.

The battery inside I'm sure helps. I am going to get an induction stove whne I upgrade my stove if we don't move because my house has an electric, I'm not paying a fortune to install a propane tank and set up a gas stove in my house.

But I have 240 already setup. SO I can get a real oven with induction adn convection, with a 3800 watt element which a stand in 120 cannot do. I think even with 20 amp wire can only get to 2400 watt.

That's just my skepticism. I just cannot see the nut this oven has. I think it's cool tech and smart, using a battery to reduce pull of max usage, heat quicker etc.
