Identical twin of former Brave minor leaguer Roddery Munoz who is with four teams since the Braves' waived him July, 2023. Had a miserable 2024 season with the Marlins: In 18 games (17 starts) 2W/7L, 1.58 WHIP, 6.53 ERA/7.19 FIP, 4.6 BB/9. Big fastball, but 4.6 BB/9 was his minor league rate as well, so control is the problem.
Rolldy's minor league stats look a lot like his brothers. Walk rate is slightly better. Hasn't pitched above AA, but he showed enough last season to get a spot on the 40-man roster. I will leave it to Deester11 to comment on how both brothers performed live. I trust that he's probably seen them pitch in-person.
Seeing they are identical twins, I always thought the Braves should have kept them both and given them the same uniform number, kept one of the guys hidden from view, and switched them on a daily basis.

That said, I do like Roddery's arm enough, but I've honestly been "meh" more times than not. I like the arm side run of his FB and he can get away with it high in the zone, but not enough to scare mlb hitters. We've seen the type plenty and unless he develops some form of command, he'll have plenty of seasons like last year. Have we heard that before?
