Maybe there's reason to be concerned, but I'm not about Lopez. His first start this spring, radio said he was working on his fastball in the bottom of the zone this spring. Until he gets lit up in the regular season, I'm gonna chalk it up as tweaking his pitches

That is why I pointed out that he threw most if not all Fastballs.. Could be something very specific he was working on.. Just never like the velo drop.. that is what I didn't like seeing.

maybe.. but I nailed this offseason..
I called that dude trollin yall right when it happened
I called AA dipping below the tax `before the new year..
I called them not trading for Cease because SD isn't going to give Nacho 'grissom' value that AA was hoping for...

and yeah, I am bummed about Soroka.. Me and a few others were hyping him before he was signed.. of course there was sentimental value in wanting him.. but his savant page was still very good. especially when you see it as a reliever. if that is me whining.. then I plead guilty... but I bet I won't be wrong about him either... He will out fWar Ian/Elder/Holmes combined.

With sale and strider being injury risk guys, I don't think investing 10 million in another high risk guy was a good move. I would prefer save that money till the deadline.

That's a really risky bet to take. Soroka could easily fall apart at any moment

There are several of you who still hype Jason heyward every offseason.
 
And now today Albies is in the 2 spot for no apparent reason other than to make the lineup weaker. Maybe snit is just practicing writing down the lineup vs LHP even though there isn’t a LHP starting today.

Albies is struggling this spring and White is competing for a spot. Maybe Snit just wanted to get the 2B spot an extra PA.

Shocking revelation here but there are other things to worry about that creating the optimal lineup for meaningless games.

It’s not something that needs practice

It's not unusual to have a guy bat high up in ST that makes no sense. It's a way to steal them an extra live AB.

As I said yesterday, radio mentioned Lopez was working on his low fastball this spring. The high number of fastballs supports this. If there were discomfort or something, that doesn't explain letting his throw 57 pitches or all fastballs
