Is Free Speech Under Attack in this Country?

Here's the truth of the matter. You libs would be supporting these deportations if these people doing this were white Europeans.

There would be no protesting over it and no ACLU lawyers involved.

These people would be gone and you would be supporting it.

No I wouldn’t. I happen to personally like due process.

lol

Sure.

You don’t get to determine whether or not I support due process for people or oppose abuses by our criminal justice system. I’ve largely agreed with you on actions of the past administration being wrong or misguided. You, on the other hand, seem to take glee in a restriction of civil liberties of those you disagree with on issues.

If you think deporting dangerous Hamas supporters who are harassing Jews is restricting civil rights you're insane.

Is it going to take getting a few people getting seriously hurt or killed until you quit being stupid?

Do you have evidence that the person in question is dangerous and harassing Jews?

That choice being walking past a protest while brown. But hey, at least the party of merit over DEI is sending away Fulbright scholars.

Man you guys just 2 years ago were telling us how virtuous the courts were in their pursuit of Donald Trump

More from that article

" the US federal government and law enforcement agencies said that they had not sought Khalil’s deportation because he attended a protest or advocated against Israeli military operations. Rather, according to the DHS, he was detained because “Khalil led activities aligned with Hamas, a designated terrorist organization.”

"When Khalil felt secure, he roamed the bailey, leading CUAD to use force and threats to push the administration into adopting his policies. He advocated for political violence as a means to destroy Israel or the United States."

"When two Barnard College students were expelled for the incident, Khalil’s CUAD led two different occupations of the institution’s buildings to pressure the administration into reversing their disciplinary decisions. A security guard was hospitalized in a February 26 incident. According to the college, the group caused tens of thousands of dollars in damages due to their vandalism.

"The support of terrorism by Khalil’s organization isn’t just relegated to a few flyers seen by Leavitt. A review of CUAD essays and social media by The Jerusalem Post shows how they have openly advocated for political violence as a method and supported alleged domestic terrorists."

No I wasn’t. I have maintained that I don’t agree with prosecuting him for what they’ve prosecuted him for, whether it was due to not believing he broke the law in some cases, like the J6 stuff, or that we look the other way too often on some like the campaign finance charges.

I actually have plenty of positions you disagree with. Please try to at least find the ones I do believe.

I’m not sure I agree with this in re: constitutionality, but certainly for the principles of free speech it’s correct. Is the money being sent to Columbia any less wasteful if students can wear masks? I’m actually old enough to remember when the government mandating whether you wear a mask or not was considered fairly controversial.

No we wouldn't. In fact it was I who called into question ICE arresting a German National.

A couple of comments with words of wisdom.

If these White Europeans were spouting Nazism or some form of racism against POC on campuses you wouldn't be holding the positions you have here.

Sorry, I don't believe you.

Nazism, sure **** them, racism, I mean who knows. What's racist? Is it calling someone the N word? No let them get their ass beat. Are they committing violence? THen yeah.

You don't have to believe me, we're just strangers on the message board, but you're projecting **** based on nothing.
