I’m not offended by any of it but not realizing the difference between calling someone retarded that obviously isn’t and a guy hot wheels that’s actually in a wheelchair is being obtuse for team points

Meh, at the end of the day both involve using specific language to be cruel and both have the potential to hurt someone with a disability’s feelings. I think both are better off avoided in polite conversation.

I'm fine with the DEI congresswoman being repugnant. But just stop trying to pretend leftism has a moral high ground to stand on. Both parties are vile, one is evil... one at least is in the ballpark of sanity

I don’t recall making that claim. Actions are what matter, not the political affiliation of those who commit them. Crockett has shown time and again that she is a terrible, self-serving politician of the worst order and this is further proof of that. But I find it absolutely silly for the people bemoaning PC culture to suddenly find the one offensive comment they find objectionable.

I don’t know what to fully make of this, because it’s obviously ****ing pointless political theater, but like also forever **** Strom Thurmond and the Dems really do just need to do *anything* right now. If the Senate isn’t interested in doing any actual legislating anyway apparently, I suppose there are worse things than removing Thurmond from some imaginary record book.
