Would he have punched a thunder like ZBo did?
The Thunder had their backs against the wall and demolished the Griz in their home building. Why do you think it would have even mattered if Zbo didn't get suspended?
I think the Thunder would still have won game 7. But, you obviously think ZBo is really good, right?
Clearly, it was a HUGE advantage him not being there. Once Brooks realized that all he had to do was put Gasol in the high PnR the Thunder could get whatever they wanted the game was over. Even still, with the focus KD/RW were playing with it wouldn't have mattered. Obviously they won't be as good as they were in game 7 all the time but even if they are 90% of that the only team that can beat them is Miami.

They really don't, though. The playoffs should be for the elite teams. Not half of the league.

Memphis/Clippers played 2 series in the playoffs past 2 years.
Went 7 games 2 years ago, LA won, and Memphis won in 6 last year.
Memphis is crazy underrated.
You are right Clippers have more firepower but OKC wont see a defense that good again.
Tony Allen is one of the few players who gives KD trouble.
And all they have to check KD is Barnes, Granger, and Crawford?
I worry Russ may go into Hero-Mode this series, unfortunately.
Paul is better than Conley, but Conley is massively underrated.

What is so crazy about this?
Gasol and ZBo are one of the best PF/C duos in the league, and Gasol is a top 2-3 C.
Blake is one of the best players in the NBA. Boderline top 5. Jordan is becoming a monster center. I don't think anyone in their right mind take Gasol and Z-Bo. Clips duo better rebounders, better all around offensive players, and ZBO on defense is the lulz.
Better all around offensive players? Did you just say that? Have you watched Deandre do anything but dunk?

I agree Blake is a monster, and OKC will have their hands full with him.
Jordan is good but he mainly gets a lot of top ins, and such.
If ZBo sucks on defense, why is Memphis one of the top 2-3 defensive teams in the league, arguably the best?
I'm not saying those two suck, they are beasts, but you highly underrate ZBo and Gasol.

Um, Blake is so far better offensively that it doesn't matter who the center is.
Jordan does just get dunks. Do those count? He is very good at finding space and catching down low, in transition, and getting put backs.
But, Blake is a star.
Memphis had the 7th best defensive rating. Do you know why Memphis has good points per game defensively? It's because they place at the slowest pace in the NBA.
But the NBA wants OKC (and Indiana) to advance
I'm not knocking Blake at all. Just putting Deandre Jordan and solid offensive player in the same sentence is insanity. A large part of Blakes game though is the fact that he is stronger and more athletic than guys guarding him. He won't have that advantage in this series. Ibaka has become an elite defender in all aspects now of his game.
