iirc, 1999 was also the year that Chipper changed his approach at the plate from the right side (thanks to Don Baylor's coaching). Prior to then, Chipper showed virtually no power from the right side, and teams would try to turn him around to hit from that side for the lack of power. In 1999, he found his power from that side of the plate, catapulting him to an all-around power hitter and took his career to the next level. That's how I remember that year with him anyway.For that 45-HR season back in 1999, I do not close the door on the possibility. Just because he wore a Braves uniform doesn't close that door. There are several former Braves on that list, after all. These guys are human, not myths.
