2025 Around The League Thread

I checked the neighbors garbage today and saw another washed up player that a loser cut.. AA should be happy that I am sending him his way.. maybe there is some value..

Would we sell at the deadline? It seems very unlikely. But stranger things have happened.

Murphy and Ozuna might bring back some pretty good prospects.

I just don't think it'll happen. We're just gonna have to eat shit with a spoon the rest of the season and watch the up and down of the team but from the looks of it they're gonna hoover around .500 all year. Big decisions to make in the offseason regarding the team bc this is the 2nd year in a row that the pitching is carrying the team.

Which is crazy because pitching looked like the weak point coming in.

I hate how MLB can manipulate the game by changing the balls. Curious that in most of these years there is a definite V curve going on. My tinfoil hat goes on when I see stuff like this.

I mean wouldn't that be normal? Don't balls fly better in the summer when it's mostly hot, dry air, hence less drag?

I'm certainly not a scientist here. Just a 10 cent observation.

Griffin Canning went 6 scoreless vs LAD en route to a 2.90 era so far

Probably shoulda kept him

He's still almost walking 4 per 9... regression is coming hard at some point. I always wish we held onto him for depth, but he's nowhere near this good.
No one’s saying to marry him.

Saying we couldn’t use half a seasons worth of sub 3 era while also saying we didn’t add enough pitching doesn’t make sense

Did you miss the part where I said "I always wish we held onto him for depth?"

Also, starting pitching hasn't been our problem... scoring 3 runs a game has been our problem
