The Three Musketeers of Sucktitude.Grab the 6 pack and get them iced down.. We need to let this one go and start stretching for our Riley/Harris/Ozzie bitching later on..

He wants to make a deal to show that he wants to make a deal?AA just said on 680 the Fan that the Braves will not be selling at the Trade Deadline, says Sale is off limits and that he's trying to make an early deadline deal to show he's committed improving the team.
it's at the bottom range of 3-Star. If it wasn't "routine", well it certainly wasn't difficult. I would be surprised if more than 6 MLB RF don't make that catch.
That means that we might be selling, but only short term pieces because we’re not punting 2026.
Ozuna isn’t going to make it to August.
There’s an opposite to everything. He’s mine.Sucks to be wrong all the time doesn't it?
Uhhh.... Francoeur.
You are using Francoeur as reference? A guy that was notably a terrible defender? GTFOH.040 xBA
75% catch prob
That's routine imo
Francoeur career dWAR (BR) = -0.5You are using Francoeur as reference? A guy that was notably a terrible defender? GTFOH
Again, do you even know what those numbers mean and how they are derived? Watch the replay again. See where Acuna had to start from. See how fast he was going when he made the dive. You are clueless if you think that was a routine play. That isn't to say no one else could have made the play. Acuna has a history of making plays harder than they need to be. But that doesn't mean this was a routine play.
Francoeur career dWAR (BR) = -0.5
Acuna career dWAR (BR) = -1.9
This argument stopped having any relevance and just became silly a while ago. Neither of you are going to give up, so I guess it will be a battle to the bitter end.![]()
Not to us.Would the Nats trade MacKenzie Gore? I was wanting him in the draft but he went right before our pick. He's controlled for 3 more years after this one and the Nats are going nowhere anytime soon.
Not according to fangraphs or BRPost knee surgery prior to this year, Acuña was a statue defensively. Pre-knee surgery he was way better than Jeff ever was.
xBA of .040
I just happened to look up just now and they were showing the exact replay of that play on MLBTV-
In no way was that play routine- I don’t even think many people could have even gotten close enough to the ball to make a dive at it. Acuna was hauling ass to get there. I don’t think even Harris, for example, would have been close enough to even have a shot.
So while it looks like he coulda, shoulda, maybe caught it - reality is very few would have even had the chance…
