GDT 8-13: No Baldwins in Queens Tonight

I know most will be mad about Baldwin being sat, but I'm good with it. LHHs have a .550 ops vs Peterson. I don't want him facing guys that will lower his stats
 
Baldwin has an .870 OPS versus lefties. He is behind Collins for ROY at this point and any games missed is a missed opportunity to catch up. This is just another dumb decision by an org full of idiots.

and are you saying that Baldwin will sub in as soon as Peterson is out of the game... yeah, lets bet on that.
 
I think I’m ready to crown Collins as ROY. He just keeps hitting, and we’ve decided to make it very tough on Baldwin to win it.

not what I said.. that he will sub in when Peterson leaves. We all know he will get his 1 chance for Allen unless the Braves are up and twit wants Allen for defense. He will NOT hit for Murph or Ozuna tonight.
 
Baldwin will finish with more hr, rbi, and better BA than Collins. I'd bet pretty big on it. Collins is another Travis demerite.

And he probably shouldn't. The players suck, but they're playing to win. I don't think PH for those 2 when you have absolute trash at the bottom is a good idea

then he is not playing because he would be facing a LHP.. he is not playing because twit is prioritizing winning over getting ROY draft pick. which one are you more interested in?
 
I hope they lose as many games as possible. If this team "turns it on" (for them), I'm afraid that AA will take the lazy route and hire Walt Weiss and keep much of the current staff in place.

I just want to see progression from Michael Harris and Drake continuing to develop and hopefully winning ROY from the rest of this season. If the rumors are true that Ozuna declined 3 different trades on July 31, then I'd bench his ass 5-6 games a week. He shouldn't be taking any at-bats away from the catchers.

I'm gonna have to agree with you. Collins will crash hard with his bapip not sustainable. Baldwin needs to be in the lineup 5-6 days a week. Anything less than that is an epic fail.

Since the braves are obviously a cursed franchise now, Collins will probably finish this season as acuna, and then go back to obscurity. He wasn't in the brewers' top 30 prospects last year or this year. This can't continue, can it?!!!
