Nevertheless, I think with a kid that young, you let him see if he can improve his defensive actions (especially given his top-tier speed and good arm), and then move him off later if it comes to that. Miller, meanwhile, is more of a known quantity with the glove, so I’d rather challenge his bat and simultaneously clear defensive innings for Gil.Eh...there's a love fest going on with Gil..deservedly so I guess, but his actions at short are meh. He's a "get to the ball" I'm supposed to guy. I've never been overly excited about his range, but he's quick and has good twitch. Maybe? But I was OK with him at 3rd. His bat and that speed will be his calling card though.
