And a big reason was that he wanted to get back as quickly as possible to help the team. But ended up that they were already out of contention. Oops.
 
Please give me any rationale that Strider isn't done as a major league pitcher. His stuff his gone and all he can do is throw batting practice. Will moving him to the bullpen change the fact that he can't get anyone out?

He's been ok first time through. The second time they see him though, it's over r
 
Thinking about SS already having TJS once and AA still extending him makes me so mad. AA should know better. Just milk the cheap years
 
Acuna should be subbed this game and out tomorrow.. not sure what is going on.. I would skip Strider completely next time through.. or tell him he is getting a 15 day IL vacation and let Sale take his place.

I am in the same boat.. this procedure is so new.. never a fan of him doing it personally.. but I think no one knows the true recovery time for this and he might be throwing with some pain or tightness.. he needs to be babied the rest of the season and if that means some pen work just to keep him throwing then do it.. enough with the starting and letting twit sleep his way through 80+ pitches.

yes.. his velo has ticked up, but it is flat and not located at all... he is also basically a two pitch pitcher and the league is just looking for one of those pitches every AB and tee'ing off on him.

I think he's a late inning reliever next season after a failed run at starting. His airing the fastball and slider out will work an inning at a time
