Strider pushed back. Good move. He barely pitched last year and is at 100 IP.

I like pushing him back, but he needs to get regular reps in. But I wouldn't push him past 60-70 pitches a game.

So help me understand why strider was pushed back. Again. I am fine with it. But help me understand the reasoning. Can’t be to face the cubs. That doesn’t make sense. If it is because he needs another day then what the hell is this team doing. Shouldn’t they have some plan approved by the medical team that he sticks to? If he is sore then shouldn’t they shut him down. It is like they are reactive versus proactive in a lost season.
