Second ('Third') Trump Presidency Thread

Oh dear lord - one is subject to our laws and the others are animals brining in poison into the country.

Weak men.....
I’m absolutely not compelled by the argument that we can bomb citizens of other countries we are not at war with just because we said so and they aren’t subject to our laws.

Cool - We are aware that you are not capable of understanding deterrent measures to actually stop criminality. Just a benign fake outrage to 'solving' the issue.

I’m capable of understanding, I just don’t accept the claim that we have some absolute right to do so. This wasn’t a boat heading with explosives to blow up Americans, we don’t get to just be the world police.

I know - You don't accept any claims without someone holding a knife and a decapitated head to know they are bad.

We all understand how soft you are on these things which has led to the degradation of our society.

I’d argue a society that sees itself as so far superior to the rest of the world that they can just decide to blow up the civilians of other countries whenever they see fit is as degraded as can be. I also find this all to be particularly odd because it openly excuses American criminality. Anybody who dies from a drug overdose due to Venezuelan cartel activity made a choice to break the law. Why are we excusing their criminality while insisting upon the immediate execution of other criminals?

I'm sure there were just some random dudes looking at a satellite image and said 'Lets bomb these guys'.

That’s a misrepresentation of my point. My suggestion is not that these were surely not members of a Venezuelan cartel. It’s that we don’t have the right to unilaterally bomb them to save drug addicts from dying of drug overdoses.

Of course we do and thats because our strikes are based on intel that typically is reliable and will result in more safety and security of our people which is kind of the whole point of government.

*How* will this improve our safety? You know they sell drugs domestically, right?
