I genuinely think a ~.800 OPS for a full year from a catcher should beat out ~120 innings of 3.00 ERA from a pitcher. And that’s without even delving into underlying metrics.Two for four, BB, RBI, run scored.

Yet wouldn’t “chase wins” in July when it would’ve mattered.
I really wish they wouldn’t have blown a few of these games they have. I’d sure like to be playing for another winning season.

I hate the stupid draft lottery anyway. They should reward teams to anti-tank anyway. Reward teams for winning as much as they can within the draft lottery. I hate "rooting against" my favorite team but know it's better for the future for the franchise since it's a lost year.
Them choking again and the Phillies bowing out in round 1 again will be an excellent consolation prize for this shit season.
