Where are the massive price increases guys?
You can’t at least admit your expectations have fallen short? No, you can’t admit this basic reality.
You just casually ignoring 2 times XBox Price increased this year?
I've had my eye for a bit on the campchef woodwind pro. It was hovering around 1500, I was hoping to wait out for a sale to get it around 1200-1300. instead they had a price hike to 2000.
I just bought a case of whipped cream nitrogen carts for the business, because of massive price hikes. Last year I got 4 boxes of 24 for 9.94. To not get hosed on pricing I got 25 for 9.99, now a case is 16.49 (was 13.49 earlier this year, was 12.99 last year) I don't love the liability aspect of having that many nitrogen carts on hand as some shithead could steal it to do whipits. But 16.49 or 68.7 cents per cart moves whipped cream to essentially a loss. Not that I expect you to understand.
We pulled the trigger on buying a berkel bread slicer, for those who don't know Berkel is like premium in the slicer industry. Spent about 8400 on it. Now they're oging to have a price increase of 2-5% in November, which isn't unreasonable. but they had a price increase last year. ANd hadn't had one in a few years before that.
Our waffle baker inserts, currently are 82.99 for a set, we have 4 waffle bakers, so every time we replace the waffle grids it costs 331.96. Which we need to do twice a year minimum (probably shoudl do it more often btu that's a crazy expense) Last year those same inserts were 60 bucks. Meaning that we went from likea 500 per year cost to 664.
Last december I bought 3 rolls of bubble wrap for 14.49 each, same exact product now is 22.49.
Last year thermal paper case cost me for just buying 1, 52.99. Now I need to buy multiple to get a decent deal on it (55) which isn't optimal because that requires me using storage space for something I don't need all the time.
I wish I lived in the delusional fairy tale world you live in where I can pretend things are OK. I just bought ground beef, paid 5 bucks a pound for it (not on sale, just regular price in "family pack" so still 50 cents cheaper thana pound) that used to be what I paid for grass fed beef. THat's now like 9 bucks for shitty open nature (Albertson's brand) grass fed beef.
